Elizabeth Arledge – President and Owner

Elizabeth Arledge is an executive leader, management consultant and US Air Force Reserve Brigadier General. She has over 25 years of experience building and leading teams across organizations and working with private industry, government agencies, legislative staff members and international partners in dynamic environments. She leads small, agile teams in achieving organizational goals including executing and completing projects, assessing performance, developing policy, or coaching and training leaders and members. She is a highly skilled communicator and has worked extensively in the public sector. She is a certified Project Management Professional.

A sample of recent consulting projects include grant management for a DC based think tank, evaluation of local government health and human services, personnel policy development in the banking industry, procedures development for a school district, and compensation assessments for local government and higher education. Her focus is helping organizations manage change and better position themselves for the future.

In the course of her military career, Elizabeth has been a part of national strategic policy development, Department of Defense budget review, accident and an incident task force and a task force on Protecting the Force after the Fort Hood shooting in 2009. In addition, she is active in reserve officer development and career growth.

Elizabeth is a PhD student at Virginia Tech with research interests in organizations, innovation implementation, leadership, and workforce development. In her free time, she enjoys CrossFit, photography, and travel and she is based in northern Virginia in the Washington DC metro area.

Mary Landon, PhD, LPC – Workforce Development Lead

Mary Landon is an expert in professional and personal growth. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a PhD in educational counseling whose career has spanned both workforce development and professional counseling. Mary was the Director of Career VIEW at Virginia Tech and an assistant research professor where she led the Virginia Career VIEW System, a comprehensive career planning system for students, educators, and parents. As part of this, she provided yearly workshops for counselors and teachers throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. She is particularly interested in preparing people and organizations for the future workforce. She has been a licensed professional counselor for over 25 years providing counseling and care for children and adults in the areas of mood disorders, trauma, anxiety, sexual abuse, ADHD, eating disorders and developmental disorders.
